Sessions vs event days
A session recurs on the weekly schedule with a fixed instructor and equipment allocation. An event day is a one-off, ticketed on ability to pay rather than a booking-and-pay-later flow, with its own tiers, its own sales curve, and a gate list checked on arrival. Equipment for an event day still draws from the same fleet, so a big event and a busy Saturday of ordinary sessions are planned against the same board and kayak count.
